Privacy Policy

Who we are

Fardagar AI is operated by Fardagar, a private limited company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and based in Islamabad, Pakistan. For any questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your data rights, contact us at privacy@fardagar.ai.

What we collect

When you use Fardagar AI, we may collect:

• Account information you provide (name, email address, company name).
• Documents, files, and website content you upload or point us to for training your chatbot.
• Conversation data — the questions your website visitors or email correspondents ask, and the answers our AI provides.
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, usage logs) for security and service operation.

Why we process your data (legal basis)

We process your account information, uploaded content, and conversation data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you — providing the chatbot and email agent service you've signed up for. We process basic technical and usage data based on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the reliability of the Service. Where we rely on your consent — for example, for optional features you specifically enable — you may withdraw that consent at any time.

How we use your data

• To generate embeddings from your documents so your chatbot can answer questions accurately.
• To operate the email support agent, when enabled, including classifying and drafting replies to messages sent to your connected support address.
• To operate and secure the Service, including detecting abuse and enforcing usage limits.
• To communicate with you about your account and the service.

We do not use your content to train AI models — neither our own models nor those of the infrastructure providers listed below.

Where your data is processed

Your data is stored and processed within Europe. We use the following infrastructure providers, all operating from European data centers, to deliver the Service:

These providers act as our data processors under our instructions and do not use your content for their own purposes, including model training. We do not transfer your data outside the European Union / European Economic Area. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent or rely on an appropriate legal transfer mechanism.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your documents and conversation data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data or your account at any time by contacting us.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your uploaded documents or conversation content with third parties except: (a) the infrastructure/service providers listed above, strictly necessary to operate Fardagar AI, (b) when required by law, or (c) with your explicit consent.

Email support agent — additional notice

If you connect a support inbox (e.g. support@your-domain) to our email agent, we access incoming messages to that address in order to classify them and, depending on your configuration, draft or send replies using your knowledge base. Messages routed for human review are held for your team's approval before any reply is sent. You control which reply modes are enabled.

Cookies and third-party resources

Our website loads fonts and interface components from third-party content delivery networks (including Google Fonts and jsDelivr). Loading these resources may share your IP address with those providers as a normal part of how web browsers request such content. We do not use these services for advertising or tracking.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent for processing at any time, by contacting us at privacy@fardagar.ai. Exercising some of these rights may limit or end your ability to use the Service.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your data does not comply with applicable law.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Fardagar AI ("the Service"), operated by Fardagar, a private limited company registered with SECP, Pakistan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Fardagar AI provides an AI chatbot that can be trained on your documents and embedded on your website, and an optional AI email support agent that classifies and responds to messages sent to a support inbox you connect, using your knowledge base. The Service is currently offered under a free tier only; no payment processing is available at this time.

3. Free tier & changes to the Service

Current usage limits (storage and query volume) are described on our pricing page and may change as we develop the product. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including free-tier limits, at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents, data, and content you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload and use this content, and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or applicable law.

5. AI-generated responses

Responses from the chatbot and email agent are generated by AI based on the content you provide. While we aim for high accuracy, AI-generated answers may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. The Service and its outputs do not constitute professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon as such. You are responsible for reviewing how the Service is configured (including which email replies are sent automatically versus routed for human review) and for the content your chatbot or email agent provides to your customers, particularly for any use involving sensitive, regulated, or high-stakes subject matter.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to impersonate others or send deceptive communications.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during this early-access phase.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fardagar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service, including damages resulting from AI-generated content or from any unauthorized access to or disclosure of your data despite our reasonable security measures. Our total liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or 1000 PKR if you are a free-tier user. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves, particularly as we introduce paid plans. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
